Is it just me or do girls get higher status among other girls when getting breast implants?

I really get this impression as I see girls going "pornstar" and how their other female firends react to it...

Is it a trend, is it a healty mentality?

Indirectly, yes. It's not the actual boob size that gets her higher status, it's the increased attention from men. If she gets increased attention from men and they're higher-caliber men paying attention to her, she will quickly rise to the top of her social circle.

Remember:

A man wants the most beautiful woman he can get, and a woman wants the highest-status man she can get.

So if a bunch of hot women suddenly start throwing themselves at a guy, his status increases in the eyes of his male peers. If a bunch of rich and powerful men start throwing themselves at a girl, her status increases in the eyes of her own.

Generally yes, for a lot of reasons, but a big one is that a lot of women who don't have fake boobs wish they had them. Often they won't admit it, but they want them. (And yes, there are women who think fake tits are terrible and would never want them; I'm not talking about those.)

Women get a lot of validation when they talk about their fake boobs with other women. "Oh yeah! I got them last year! Feel them, feel them!". "Wow! They feel really good! OMG! How much were they? Did it hurt?" Blah blah blah.

Women, especially mediocre to pretty ones, are very self-conscious about their tits. If they're not big enough OR sag a little bit OR aren't the correct shape (in their eyes) OR start falling into their armpits when they lay on their back OR any other problem most men wouldn't even notice, yeah, they start wishing for fake boobs, and are excited/envious when one of their girlfriends gets some.

I see the same thing, but see it more with women who don't go "pornstar", but instead women who go "big C cup" who formerly were tiny-breasted or had saggy boobies.

IME women who go full on pornstar balloon tits (mmmmm....) end up getting dirty looks from other women, not envious accolades. (However that may be a regional thing.)

Yes. A big one. Over time you will see more women (and men) look to surgical options to enhance their appearance. Not just boobs, but everything.

I'm not qualified to answer that question, but my opinion is that anything that makes you happy long-term is worth doing, and I can tell you from personal experience dating women who got fake boobs (or botox or whatever) and getting medically "enhanced" myself (addressing my thinning hair a few years back), these things absolutely do make people happier long-term, and I've never met anyone who regretted it.

(Women who got fake tits way back in the 80s and had them rupture later excepted. I'm talking about women who get fake tits now since the technology has been perfected.)

I love big boobs. Anything under a small C is a turnoff for me. So to me, fake or real are both good, as long as the real ones are big and properly shaped. But yeah, I'm a huge fan of fake boobs. One of my current women has a pair and they're fucking awesome.
